Hello! My name is Lisi. I am a German teacher from Austria, Europe. I draw cute chickens and other things. 🙂
Why chickens?!
Because I love chickens. They are cute, funny, and weird. I like weird.
How long have you been drawing chickens?
For more than 40 years. I took a 15-year break from drawing, but started again recently. And now I’m learning how to draw on the computer!

What media did/do you use?
Traditional: Pencils and various ink pens
Digital: Mostly GIMP (still learning!) and a Wacom Intuos M tablet
Do you draw anything other than chickens?
As cartoons, not really. Occasionally some ducks, but that’s about it. I tried to change to penguins once, but it wasn’t really satisfying. Chickens are the funniest, after all.
I do, however, draw non-cartoony art. I like doing portraits of celebrities I find interesting. I also enjoy the occasional ink pen sketch, mostly architecture or landscapes. And, a long time ago, I dabbled in Harry Potter fanart. You will stumble upon some of those pictures when you browse my portfolio.
